NEW BATTLEFIELDS AND A LITTLE FLEET ACTION

Despite works best effort to keep me out of my painting workshop the past few months, I have been managing to sneak some time in to do some painting, albeit not as much as I would have liked. Two interesting things did happen this month though which explains the sudden flurry of activity. Firstly having recently read both Dan Abnett's "Titanicus" and Graham McNeill's equally excellent "Mechanicum" I have been quite motivated of late to get things moving again on the 'Epic' front. The other was being bitten by the terrain bug again (which does happen from time to time)

The consequence of this was the sudden demise of my old 40K and Epic gaming tables to make way for some all new environments to battle over. All will of course naturally get covered here weather permitting (well, the wife does get quite unreasonable about the whole indoor spraying malarkey). Gaming tables aside, I have also been making some headway on all manner of scatter terrain for not only Epic, but 40K, Starship Troopers and Babylon 5. Looks like this winter is going to be quite a terraforming time if all goes to plan

On the subject of Babylon 5, I have finally gotten around to adding a gallery to the site covering the first of my fleets. Rather sadly the miniature range was recently cancelled by Mongoose, but I did manage to pick up enough varied ships for the majority of the races to stir up the potential for a few themed campaigns later in the year with friends.

All that and anything else I can think of adding can be found of course in their respective galleries. Until next time, happy gaming and have a great festive season!

As 2008 comes to a close, I reflect back on a somewhat turbulent year in my workbench ruminations. Find out more in my 'Big Fat Review of the Year'. Also [Read Whats New]
