| Seriously considering whether on not to open a new
section on Dropship to focus purely on some of the Forge World 'tank' kits
I have been accruing over the years. It just occurred to me when I
realised there are several vehicles sat gathering dust on shelves that I
have never posted onto the site before, such as the Mars Alpha pattern
Leman Russ Exterminator used by the Space Wolves. I may give that some
thought over the next few weeks. |

| Stuck deciding whether or not to paint more Mortant
Infantry, or a few additions to my GT Death Guard. Eventually decide to
carry on with the Mortant Artillery Company instead in a fit of
enthusiasm. Also needed to come up with a flying base for the Tau Orca, so
spent most of the afternoon trying out different bases before settled on a
short length of ruined building to which I added some flooring and broken
up brickwork. |

| My highlight this week? Seeing that after 'yawn' knows
how many months (five actually), last years Interactive Army Lists have
finally been patched for the criminal volume of bugs in them. Shame its a
third of a year after I actually wanted to use them. I'm so happy, I think
I might go paint more Death Guard. On a lighter note I found time to
finish the first of the Epic Squiggoth howdah's this weekend. I won't be
uploading any of the Epic Feral Orks until later in the year, but I might
find time to paint up the first of the Ork Great Squiggoth's early, its
just too darned tempting. |

| After uploading the first batch of
Speed Freeks to the Conflict Armageddon
section, I got to thinking about some of the other Ork armies that are
milling about my workbench currently and how they could be given an update
so to speak. As luck would have it Dave was looking for something to do
(either that or he was just in the wrong place at the right time), so I
gave him a handful of Epic Squiggoth's to see what he could do to improve
them. The good news is the end result is rather surprising and exactly
what I was looking for. The bad news is it means I have to go scratch
build some tiny Howdah's for them all. A small price to pay I feel. |

| So what happened to the 'Workbench' then? Basically I
never seemed to find the time to update it frequently enough to make it
useful, so I gave it the chop. Of course, that leaves me with a gap in the
site to fill, which led me to thinking about a diary. Over the course of
the past year or so various gamers have contacted me asking if I'd mind
posting a 'preview' so to speak of what I was working on at the time. This
seemed a rather good idea to me, but frankly a little dull, so I got to
thinking about what I could include here in addition to a few infrequent
inane ramblings...
I haven't quite worked it out yet, so I guess I'll just have to wing it
and see how it goes. It can be a voyage of discovery for all of us. Until
something more useful appears here...feel free to peruse other areas of
Dropship. Happy gaming. |
