Combining games of both Battlefleet Gothic and Epic Armageddon are a great way of creating campaigns that span the entire Armageddon Sector and bring a new dimension to both games. For that reason I have created a section looking at ways the two games can co-exist in the Armageddon Conflict, as well include modelling articles for some of the great fleets available through Specialist Games.

INTRODUCTION

Over the coming months Battlefleet Armageddon will swell with the arrival of new ships, fleet auxiliaries, more celestial phenomena and a host of new scenarios themed against the 3rd Armageddon War. Check back from time to time to see what's new.

Imperial Fleet - Armageddon
The Imperial Fleet, under Admiral Parol was initially ill-prepared for the onslaught of Ghazghkull's vast Armada of Hulks and Kroozers, sustaining huge losses during the early phases of the war. Reinforced by ships from the Voss Shipyards, Battlefleet Armageddon recovered from their earlier defeats to set about re-establishing control in the Armageddon Sector. One such vessel was the Apocalypse Class Battleship. Not only a good flagship for an Armageddon Fleet with its vast array of gun batteries, but also usable as part of an Epic Imperial Guard army.  |Find out more...|
Ghazghkull's Fleet - Armageddon
Amongst Ghazghkull's vast fleet were a number of ships that the Imperium had never encountered before. Far larger than the Orks mainstay Kill Kroozers, these vessels were eventually classified as Ork Battle Kroozers. Four of these vessels took part in the initial invasion, "Slamblasta", "Gorbadd's Revenge", Rok Droppa" and the Hammer Class "Dethdeala" shown here. Like the Imperial Guard, the Orks can make use of ships are part of their Epic Armageddon Invasion army. | Find out more...|
Celestial Phenomena - Asteroids
Asteroids are just one of the many hazards in Armageddon space and there have been many articles showing how to create your own in both the Battlefleet Gothic rulebook, Gothic Magazine and White Dwarf. In this article I show another way that adds some height to the rocks and using nothing more expensive than inexpensive light rocks used in BBQ's and a few flying stands. | Find out more...|
Celestial Phenomena - Planets
Gothic games wouldn't be much fun without a few planets to orbit, hide behind, or better still bombard. Using a few polystyrene globes that are easily found in most art stores, I show how various planets can be very quickly produced, ranging for the smallest of moons, to the largest of gas giants. | Find out more...|
Armageddon Listening Outpost
Small featured pieces of terrain, such as listening outposts are great for creating gaming objectives. During the early stage of the war many of these outposts were over run by Ghazghkull's fleet as it emerged from the warp. This particular outpost is one I have used in my own games for a fun scenario involving the Orks outer picket ships and a few small Imperial navy patrol squadrons (no Cruisers in other words). More of that scenario at a later date. | Find out more...|
