Epic Armageddon is
the latest evolution of the 6mm gaming system first
introduced in 1988 as Adeptus Titanicus which originally
pitted the loyalist Titan Legions of Mars against the
Traitor Legion followers of Warmaster Horus. Having gone
through many incarnations over the years, it still remains
my firm favourite and the system which I most return to when
thinking up a new army. Currently the Epic Armageddon
rulebook and Epic Swordwind supplement cover a number
of races and it is mainly those you will find featured here.
As more races are released I will endeavour to include them
here also. |
| The galleries on the right
feature a selection of some of the forces and terrain I
have worked on more recently for the re-launch of Epic
in 2004. It covers some of the popular armies from the
book as well as a few more unusual ones which I
assembled for various campaigns or scenarios. Where
possible I try to include any notes or details about
their assembly or painting for reference. At any one
time I am often working on more than one army, so don't
worry if a particular force you are interested in hasn't
been covered, I will get around to it eventually. |

It is probably true to say that I get as
much enjoyment out of making terrain and gaming boards
for Epic as I do collecting the armies. There is
something very appealing about war gaming terrain at
that scale, whether it be rocky escarpments and woods or
vast sprawling cityscapes. Over the years I have
produced a number of themed gaming tables and I will
continue to feature a selection of some of them here,
along with any other articles that may be of interest. |

Not all models I paint for Epic fit
neatly into a convenient army section, as many are
either colour tests or just painted for fun. I have
included a selection of some of them here in the links
below. If and when I manage to actually complete the
army then they will be moved into their own section
which can be viewed using the menu at the top right. For
the meantime however you can find them listed below. |
